MO&Co., une marque qui nous inspire.
Mo&Co a brand that inspires us
The Chinese fashion brand MO&Co. opens its European flagship on May 13, 2017 at 53 rue Vieille du Temple in the Marais in Paris. For this event, we asked Silvie Klementova, Visual Merchandiser at MO&Co., to introduce us to this new brand that will make some noise!
Silvie is from the Czech Republic. Francophile, she arrived in Paris 6 years ago in order to become a Visual Merchandiser in fashion but also to continue to discover the culture and art of living in the French way. By a curious coincidence, Silvie returns precisely to the Marais where she studied for her thesis in art history at the National Archives.
Before taking care of the MO & Co store network. for France and England, she worked for luxury brands.

Tell us about MO&Co.
MO&Co. is a well-known Chinese brand in China created by Jenny Kim in 2004. It is a network of more than 600 shops in China. The first point of sale in France dates from 2015 at Galeries Lafayette Boulevard Haussmann in Paris.
MO&Co. is the name of the first line for women fashionistas who love trends and who like to assemble parts and materials. It's avant-garde, the masculine-feminine asserted, the unstructured, and a sometimes-eccentric mix of colors. A strong and rebellious woman who likes to express her opinions and whom remains feminine in the details like ribbons or lace.
Edition10 is the second line, it is a bit like the big sister of MO&Co. She is more refined and more elegant. The Orient, like prints that offer a reinterpretation of Chinese landscapes or mandarin necks, inspires it. She loves red, the color so much appreciated in China. This line is casual chic while MO&Co. is more of an urban style, street style.
What is the difference of MO & Co. with other brands?
It's a brand that makes the difference by its creativity. It can be compared to brands like "Off White" or "Clothing". Customers who discover MO&Co. testify to this singular originality. This is also what wanted to show Jenny Kam, the founder who did not always find what she wanted in stores and where the name! MO for More and Co for Company is as simple but seen as it is obvious.
How do you work in-store collections?
This is done very spontaneously because I can mix almost anything. Because it is the goal of the brand to dare to mix. There are very feminine pieces that are offered with a more sporty style and superimpositions of materials. Or lace with a sports tee and a kimono-inspired jacket. Many pants like the "track pant" inspired 80s with zips. But also ribbons in the back, on the pants. It is for a woman who wants to please, who wants to have a singular style. It's free style!
What are the inspirations of the 2017 summer collection?
Françoise Hardy who made a film in the 60’s “Grand Prix” inspired the collection. She was dressed in a Formula 1 suit. This collection evokes speed, lots of slogans about t-shirts that evoke motor racing. There is also an influence that comes from the trip around the Mediterranean and casual French. Relaxed French style with gingham, jeans and floral prints. Mixed with a combination of Formula 1 you will get a style that will stand out in the street. If there is a word to say to our customers it's "dare
